The brief
KOKOWA makes chocolate from the bean in its own workshop in Sfântu Gheorghe: bars, nut and seed butters and cacao drinks, in small batches and with no additives. Its founder, Wanna, spent six years in Belgian chocolate before coming home in 2021. KOKOWA needed a shop that sells to customers and to partner stores, and a team to keep it running and growing.
What we made
We built the KOKOWA shop on WordPress and WooCommerce, and we still run it. We connected the systems it depends on: Netopia card payments, Sameday Easybox delivery, Google sign-in, loyalty points and Google reviews. Since launch we keep improving it, making pages faster and cutting what the shop costs to run, and we write custom scripts for the jobs the team would otherwise do by hand.
